I give them one week definitely, two weeks maybe

These are really good. I made a test batch last week. They passed. So I made more.

Here’s the recipe (it makes between 8 and 40 or so servings):

Oat and peanut butter ball ingredients

  • 4c oats
  • 2c peanut butter
  • 1c chocolate chips
  • 1/2c honey
  • 2T molasses
  • 2T coconut oil
  • 4 scoops protein powder

Recipe by weight (slightly different recipe, way better experience)

  • 400g oats
  • 600g peanut butter
  • 150g chocolate chips
  • 125g honey
  • 40g coconut oil
  • 20g molasses

How to make oat and peanut butter balls

  • Dump the ingredients into a big bowl
  • Mix together, preferably with a sturdy spoon
  • Cover the bowl and put it in the fridge
  • Do something else for an hour or two
  • Get the bowl out of the fridge
  • Roll the mixture into foosball sized balls
  • Stack the balls in an airtight container
  • Put the container of oat and peanut butter balls in the freezer

When to eat oat and peanut butter balls

  • In the morning with a cup of coffee
  • After lunch, preferably with coffee
  • As a mid afternoon snack, ideally paired with coffee
  • On ice cream (affogato, anyone?)
  • Before or after hiking
  • While watching soccer
  • In the car
  • As a meal replacement
